Hakii - Belair (too looonnggg)

Hi everyone,

I tried the Hakii in Belair, a new japanese restaurant! I went there with a lot of expectations as it is the same owner of Mont Saint Lambert (one of my favorite restaurant in Luxembourg)!

The place is cool and well located. Small, simple tables in wood with low chairs, photographies on the wall, great! So, after looking for a space to put our jackets (quite difficult), we finally sit and wait for the waiter, and wait, wait wait... we finally order our drinks and again a long wait... the waiter informed us that this week no sushis! ok, that's fine, i love to discover other things and for having traveled in Japan, I know that a lot of plates are delicious!
So we discovered the menu with only bawls of rice and other elements added on it. You can also have nigiris as a starter which are basically a bawl of rice with fish or advocate on the top of it.

After a long wait, we finally order and this was the beginning of another very long wait! After we received bowls for some people of the table, we had to wait again for the other people while our bowls became colder... I was a bit stunned because it wasn't overcrowded! In Mont Saint Lambert, I've never experienced this...

I took Gudyon (or Guydon not sure), it was beef, egg and rice! delicious and the portion was sufficient! Another disappointment was the absence of dessert...
Seeing our faces, the waiter confessed that they are waiting for another cooker and that was a difficult launch... So we had to wait few months to see the real spirit of the place! The service was as usual really nice and they even offered us a last shot before we leave, Mont saint lambert spirit :)

As I said, knowing their other restaurant, I will give them another chance!
